The laser protection required by law applies just as much to cleanrooms as to any other place where lasers are used. We have taken up the challenge of developing laser protection curtains, laser protection shields and also curtains for darkening, taking into account the aspects of the cleanroom, since this is not usually the case. Laser protection products, which are necessarily used in the cleanroom, must be either retrofitted at considerable expense, or tested for their cleanroom suitability at high cost.
Laser protection curtains can be adapted to the requirements of the cleanroom by wrapping them. As a result of the wrapping, the laser safety curtains used are very stiff.
To overcome this problem, PROTECT- Laserschutz offers the laser safety curtains isoPROTECT-CR-ESD and isoPROTECT-CR in addition to the standard BUDGET and HIGHTECH series wraps. These models are not wrapped laser safety curtains, but specially upgraded polymer fabrics that cover both clean room and laser safety conditions.
